The JIFL (Jakarta International Football League)
is purely an amateur, expat football league. Professional football players are not allowed to play in the league unless they are retired or meet the requirements specified in the JIFL rules. The JIFL counts a few famous ex international players such as Fandi Ahmad, Jules Denis Onana (ex Cameroon national team, World Cup 1990) and Emmanuel Maboang Kessack ( ex Cameroon national team, World Cup 1990 & World Cup 1994).
